Marvin: Hope for a Second Chance
Marvin is a six-year-old Labrador Retriever with a heart full of love. He was surrendered in September 2025 after suddenly becoming paralyzed in his hind legs. A neurological assessment revealed L4–S3 myelopathy, an acute spinal cord injury that initially left Marvin unable to move his back legs or feel pain in them.
But there is reason to hope! After just a few rehabilitation sessions, Marvin began showing signs of regaining pain sensation. His neurologist is optimistic that, with daily physical rehabilitation and continued therapy at home, Marvin may walk again someday. In the meantime, he loves zipping around in his snazzy blue wheelchair!
Gentle and affectionate, Marvin loves people and never turns down a cuddle. Despite his challenges, his zest for life is infectious, and his determination inspires everyone around him. Marvin is looking for a loving home with someone patient and committed to continuing his rehabilitation journey. With the right care and support, he can keep making progress while enjoying all the love a family has to offer. We believe Marvin deserves every possible chance at a happy life.
Your support of Dog Tales Charitable Foundation helps make that possible for dogs like him.
Could you give Marvin the chance to find his forever home?
